Could Beyonce Be Any Less Original?

As many people saw, Beyonce performed the song from her new single "Run the World (Girls)" on the 2011 Billboard Awards. What most people did not realize or know is that a lot of the performance was taken from the 2010 Sanremo Music Festival performance by the Italian artist Lorella Cuccarini.

If it was not bad enough that the song itself is to the beat of Major Lazer's song "Pon Di Floor", she could have tried to use original ideas for everything else she did with the song. This should not have come as a surprise since this is NOT the first time she has used someone else's ideas and passed them as her own. Remember the popular "Single Ladies" dance? Stolen from Gwen Verdon. The "Single Ladies" music video had "inspired" portions from a performance that Verdon did. What else has she been hiding as trying to have us think was her great idea?

Read more to see the "Run the World (Girls)" performance side by side with Lorella Cuccarini's performance and the Gwen Verdon performance with the "Single Ladies" video below it.
